Huddersfield Town have extended Joe Lolley’s loan to Scunthorpe United until November 21– but have a 24-hour recall clause.

The 23-year-old has made six appearances (three of them starts) for the League I club, who are managed by ex-Town boss Mark Robins.

The former Kidderminster Harriers player’s initial stay ended after Saturday’s 3-0 win at Chesterfield.

Lolley, who has played 27 times (four starts) and scored four goals for Town, came on as a substitute at the Proact Stadium.

Town boss Chris Powell said: “Joe has settled into playing regularly during his initial month’s stay at Scunthorpe.

“As a result the loan suits all parties at this time and it made sense for us to maintain the continuity.

“The recall clause effectively means Joe can return here at any time if the need or desire arises.”

Scunthorpe also have Town centre-back Murray Wallace on loan.

The 22-year-old has played 11 times for the Iron.

His stay has been extended once and ends after Saturday’s home game against Barnsley.

Town have a 24-hour recall option on the former Falkirk player.
