TOWN fans have the chance to enjoy an Audience with Andy Booth.

It's the next event on his testimonial calendar and will take place at the Town Hall on Sunday, April 1.

The two-hour family event starts at 3.00 and will feature a gallery of current and former players in addition to the man himself.

Youngsters - who will receive a free poster - will have the chance to get their picture taken with Boothy and the other stars present, who will also be available for autographs.

Centrepiece of the entertainment, however, will be a Parkinson-style chat with Booth on stage, featuring big-screen footage of many of his goals.

The whole thing will be hosted by Paul Clark of Home FM and fans will also get the chance to ask their own questions.

Food will be available and a bar, there will be a stall selling Booth's testimonial merchandise and entry is just £3 for adults and £1 for Under 16s.

"We were keen to put on an event for supporters which would not cost the earth and yet would allow them get close to their hero, get an autograph and have a picture taken," said organiser Graham Nelson, of the testimonial committee.

"It's an informal occasion which can be enjoyed by everyone, there will be a feature on Boothy and then a question and answer and we hope people will take the opportunity to bring the kids, enjoy a drink and something to eat and socialise in a really nice atmosphere."

Tickets are available now from the Town Hall, from the Stadium Superstore and from Sporting Pride on Cloth Hall Street.
