Danny Carr continued his scoring streak as Huddersfield Town Under 21s maintained their bright run in the Professional Development League.

The 19-year-old striker now has seven goals for the season after notching both in the 2-0 Division II North win at Coventry.

It was a fourth straight victory for Steve Eyre’s table toppers, who are unbeaten in five so far.

Keeper Ian Bennett, now 42, and midfielders Keith Southern and Duane Holmes all got run-outs.

Carr claimed his first on 46 minutes, converting a neat cut-back by Dale Hopson, and his second after 64, tapping in after heading against the bar.

Southern, fit again after a calf problem, played 74 minutes before being replaced by Ben Holmes.

Town:@ Bennett; Carroll, Wallace, Burke, Smith; Southern (B Holmes, 74), Hopson, D Holmes; Leonard (Boyle, 86), Mullin (Bojaj, 78), Carr.
