Huddersfield Town Chairman Dean Hoyle is "absolutely gobsmacked" after the first day of 2016/17 season card sales - according to son Danny.
Hundreds of fans queued outside the John Smith's Stadium ticket office on Thursday, some from 4.15am , in an effort to get one of the first 10,000 cards priced at £179 for adults, £69 for 8-17-year-olds and £23 for those under the age of eight.
Season card holders could also renew by post and they are available to buy online.
And although the club aren't yet releasing any official figures for sales, Danny Hoyle tweeted on Thursday night: "Dean- absolutely gobsmacked with today's ST sales, even though they're still available online throughout the night".
The Chairman is a guest on Radio Leeds on Friday night from 6-7pm.
