Cheltenham 0 - 0 Town. There were no goals in Town's second pre-season friendly at Cheltenham which ended a dull goal-less game.

Town's best chance came from Andy Booth who was put through by Delroy Facey on 30 minutes. He cut inside from the right and pulled off a left foot curler which Carl Muggleton tipped away.

The only other chance of the game was a Chris Hay effort on 64 minutes. Hay was clean through after neatly sidestepping Neil Howarth but his shot was deflected for a corner by Mark Yates.

Chris Beech played the final 18 minutes of the match as he continued on his comeback trail but Martyn Margetson did not come out for the second half after succumbing to a groin injury.

Jamaican triallist Donovan Ricketts replaced the Welshman for the second half but Town manager Lou Macari said after the match that he would not be signing Ricketts as he felt that the Terriers needed a more experienced goalkeeper.
