Matt Crooks and Danny Carr have returned to Huddersfield Town after loan spells at League Two clubs Hartlepool United and Mansfield Town respectively.

Defender Crooks, whose sole Town game was against AFC Bournemouth on the first day of the Championship campaign, has made two starts and one substitute appearance from the bench for Pool.

Striker Carr, like Crooks 20-years-old, has scored once in four games (three starts) for Mansfield.

The former Dulwich Hamlet player has made three Town appearances.

Town still have five players out on loan.

Strikers Martin Paterson and Jon Stead are at League One clubs Fleetwood Town and Bradford City and defender Jake Carroll at Scottish Premiership side Partick Thistle.

Meanwhile young keepers Ed Wilczynski and Sam Guthrie are in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League with Trafford and Salford City respectively.
