Huddersfield Town were overpowered and overwhelmed by Bristol City as they fell 4-0 at Ashton Gate in the final away game of the season.

Although the Robins went into the break one ahead the two teams had been evenly-matched for much of the first half, with the home side taking the initiative just before half time through Jonathan Kodjia.

But there was little to suggest what would follow as Town conceded three goals in the second period and never looked liked fashioning anything in reply.

Weak in the challenge, the Robins had far too much space to exploit and they made Town pay.

Kodjia and Lee Tomlin were Town's chief tormentors, but it might have been more were it not for a few wasted chances.

Town have one more game left and will want to show their supporters that was an aberration and they still have fuel left in the tank ahead of the summer break.
