SOUTH African keeper Paul Evans is back at the McAlpine.
The 30-year-old has been drafted in as non-contract cover until Town are certain of Ian Gray's full recovery from a broken hand.
Evans - who was with Rushden and Diamonds until November - was last with Town in 2002 under Lou Macari.
He was on the bench for seven League matches and also deputised for Martyn Margetson in the two play-off matches against Brentford.
"We were going to bring in Paul in any case to have a look at him, but if there are any problems with Ian Gray's recovery then we could look to make something more permanent," said Peter Jackson today.
"He hasn't played since November, so he needs training and games, but he will play in the Reserves tonight and we'll take things from there."
Evans, who worked for Terry Yorath at Sheffield Wednesday, will play behind a defence tonight including David Mirfin (after hamstring trouble).
Lee Fowler returns from suspension in midfield while Jon Newby will play a full 90 minutes if possible after his training-ground run-out at the weekend.
Town - P Evans, Thompson, Mirfin, Booty, C Evans, Mattis, Fowler, Holland, Ahmed, Newby, Thorrington.
