Former Huddersfield Town striker Martin Paterson remains ruled out by a knee injury as Orlando City approach a busy stage of the MLS season.

And boss Adrian Heath also has a worry over ex-Town trialist defender Sean St Ledger, who suffered a dislocated shoulder during the 2-0 home defeat by FC Dallas on Saturday.

One-time Burnley and Northern Ireland star Paterson, previously sidelined by a hamstring problem, has made only three appearances, all as a substitute, for Orlando, who are fourth in the 10-team Eastern Conference.

Heath’s side have a high-profile friendly against touring West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday and host New York Red Bulls on Saturday.

“We always welcome international teams and it’s something we’ve really looked forward to over the years. But the timing could certainly have been better,” said Heath.
