LEE CROFT is desperate to kick memories of a miserable season into touch and force his way into Derby boss Nigel Clough’s plans.

The 26-year-old winger, pictured, managed just one start and five substitute appearances when loaned to Town for the first half of the campaign.

Now Croft, who started out at Manchester City and has also played for Oldham and Norwich, wants to rekindle his career, saying: “I want to put the low point of my career behind me.”
