Former Huddersfield Town midfielder Chris Holland is the new assistant manager at AFC Telford United.

The Lancastrian has been reunited with Steve Kittrick, with whom he worked at Guiseley, at the Conference North club.

Telford have just been relegated from the Conference top flight.

Midfielder Holland, now 39, made 138 Town appearances between February 2000 and March 2004.

He was signed for £100,000 from Birmingham City and left for Boston United on a free transfer.

Holland, who won 10 England Under 21 caps, began his career at Preston North End and also had a spell at Newcastle United.
