FORMER Town keeper Andy Jeffery has signed for Worksop Town.
The Sheffield-based 20-year-old, who joined Town from Sheffield Wednesday, has been snapped up by manager Ronnie Glavin for the Conference North club.
Jeffery was on the bench 16 times for Town's first team (without getting a game) in the 2002-03 relegation season under Mick Wadsworth and Mel Machin.
He stepped up to understudy Phil Senior when loan man Scott Bevan got injured.
Jeffery, who was on non-contract terms with Town at the time, was not retained at the end of that season because of the club's financial problems.
