A TOWN fan hurt in a brick attack in Blackpool today said thanks to all who helped her.

Mrs Debbie Warrior suffered a badly bruised shoulder as she was hit by the brick, hurled through a Town supporters' coach outside Blackpool's Bloomfield Road ground on Tuesday night.

She was also showered with shattered glass as she and her husband Steven waited for their journey home after Town's 1-0 victory.

Thankfully, Mrs Warrior, of Huddersfield, escaped serious injury and was allowed home after being checked over by doctors at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.

But she admits she was shaken up by the incident.

Her husband Steve, 42, said: "It was very frightening.

"Now we want to thank all the Town fans who came to Debbie's aid, as well as Town manager Peter Jackson and the physio.

"They came to see how they could help and Peter Jackson actually came with Debbie to the ambulance.

"He has also phoned her twice to see how she is. We also want to thanks Stotts Coaches for making sure we got home after the incident".

Mr Warrior has been a Town fan for many years and his wife attends several games.
