TOWN'S biggest personalities are joining forces to help the Patrons Association celebrate their 20th Anniversary next month.

And supporters can be a part of the festivities, too, with tickets on sale to the end of this week for a special dinner and disco at the Galpharm on Saturday, April 9.

Club owner Ken Davy, chief executive Andrew Watson and manager Peter Jackson are among those attending, along with members of the first-team squad.

Patrons vice-presidents Andy Booth, Reece Dinsdale, Frank Worthington, Keith Hanvey, Gerry Murphy and Alan Sykes are also on the guest list.

"It promises to be a great night to mark the 20th anniversary of the association," said a Patrons spokesman.

"The tickets are very reasonably priced (£16) for an excellent choice of menu and super entertainment and all Town fans are invited - you don't have to be an existing member to be there.

"The deadline for buying tickets, however, is this Saturday (March 19) because we need to know menu choices by that date for the caterers."

"The Patrons have given tremendous backing to the club over the last couple of decades and, with all money raised now going towards the Academy, the association is continuing to play a valuable role in supporting the club," added the spokesman.

"It's great that so many club personalities have already committed themselves to the anniversary event on April 9 and we hope as many supporters as possible will book this week to join them."
