Huddersfield Town will be wearing a new kit in 2016/17 - and fans have the chance to be present at the unveiling.

It takes place at the Odeon next to the John Smith’s Stadium on Friday evening, two days after the English Football League’s fixture release.

Tickets for the June 24 event, which has a 7.00 for 7.30 start, cost £5 (ring 01484 484123 or visit the stadium between 9.00 am and 5.00pm).

As well as a big-screen presentation, there will be interviews before the new-look kit makes its first appearance.

The shirt, which will again carry the logo of main club sponsors PURE Legal, shorts and socks continue to be manufactured by Puma.

The kit could be worn for Town’s opening pre-season friendly at National League Guiseley on Wednesday, July 6.

And it will be donned for the plum John Smith’s Stadium clash with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool on Wednesday, July 20.

Town’s new away kit, which will be revealed in July, will be worn at Oldham Athletic on Saturday, July 9.

PURE Legal became sponsors last summer and have extended the deal through to 2019.

The legal services business has branches in Prescot, York and Manchester.

The new kit carrying their name and logo will also be used by Town’s Under 21 team.
