FIRST of all HTSA would like to wish all its members and fellow Huddersfield Town fans a very Merry Christmas.

Let’s hope the results over the festive period give us additional Christmas cheer.

The result at Hull was not good. After the battling performance against Bolton at the John Smith’s, this was a match which we thought could re-ignite winning ways, but as soon as Robert Koren gave the Tigers the lead in the seventh minute, it was always going to be an uphill battle.

The second half was slightly improved but Town were unable to turn their possession into chances.

David Meyler sealed Hull’s win in the last minute, stretching Town’s winless run to six matches.

Town slid further down the Championship table to 17th and fans are keen to see an upturn in form as soon as possible.

Saturday’s travel to Crystal Palace features a departure time of 10am for the 5.20pm kick-off.

There are still spaces available and fans can book by contacting 07926 165863.

This week’s teaser question is: Town thrashed Crystal Palace by what score in 1999?

The first person to email at competitions@htsa-online.co.uk is the winner, and this will be announced on the HTSA website and in next week’s Examiner.

The answer to last weeks question (which former Town manager is now in charge at Hull City?) was Steve Bruce.

It’s important to us that we encourage more and more Town fans to join HTSA, not only to increase our membership base, but so we have a greater, more powerful voice in what happens surrounding our club.

So, if you’re interested in joining visit the new-look website at www.htsa-online.co.uk – or write to us c/o Wheawill & Sudworth, PO Box B30, 35 Westgate, Huddersfield HD1 1PA.

Don’t forget, HTSA run a ‘Guess the Crowd’ competition on Twitter (@officialhtsa) for every home game, so if you would like to try and win two HTSA coach tickets at 50% discount to the corresponding fixture – then simply log in.
