Huddersfield Town extended their unbeaten run to five matches as they secured a 4-4 draw against Derby County in a dramatic John Smith's Stadium showdown.

Oscar Gobern , Mark Hudson , Reece James and Nahki Wells each found the net for Town, as they recovered from the early setback of a Tom Ince goal to head in 3-1 up at the interval.

Play-off chasing Derby came on strong after the break though and pulled level thanks to goals from substitute Simon Dawkins and Manchester United loanee Jesse Lingard.

Wells and strike partner Ishmael Miller both saw goals chalked off for offside but the former made no mistake from a Sean Scannell pull-back before Ince had the final say with just over 10 minutes to go.

The manager says Smithies did not have a save to make but he did. He had four and let all four in, added to two mistakes by Butterfield and Hogg we are reminded even our better players are human sometimes. Overall, a top performance. I hope we carry this form into next season.John, Honley.

Town were let down by another poor Smithies performance and were guilty of giving the ball away too much. Another disgraceful "big club" ref. but showed heart, guts and determination to keep going when we were battling everything. Proud of the blue and white stripes this week.David, Wyke.

Entertainment of the highest level. Well done to the team, just shows what we can do looking forward.Geoff, Doncaster.

Great game and advertisement for our team. Obviously the defending could have been better but still a very exciting game. Season ticket prices are one of the cheapest in the Championship. Excellent value for money over the season! Josh, Birstall.

Great game. Should have put the result to bed in the first half. Would like to see Wells' disallowed goal for offside, again. Thought the referee was poor and did not give us much. Stu, Sleaford.

Good enough to win the game when we pressed Derby, but mistakes get punished at this level. Gobern's brilliant run and strike changed the game and gave us confidence. Ian, County Durham.

A much improved performance spoiled by weak defending. Gobern was excellent in midfield and Miller deserves a contract. It would be good to have Reece James on loan for the whole of next season. Terry, Lincoln.

A great show of how good Town are and can compete with any team in the Championship! Unlucky not to win this one.Dominic, Halifax.

Great result considering Derby's position in the league. However, it could have been even better. Smithies showed his frailties again and the defence were not up to the usual standard. Gobern was outstanding. Wells and James played well.Richard, Kirkburton.

Great effort from town. Defensive errors and a poor goalkeeping display let us down. Feels like a defeat. Gobern was fantastic. Encouraging signs from James and Miller. We are not far off being a good squad. Sort the contracts for Gobern and Miller please. Arthur, Shepley.
