While we’re on the topic of fans, we’d like to remind people that the FSF (Football Supporters Federation) roadshow comes to Leeds this Thursday night. The event starts at 7pm at The Central*, 88 Wellington Street, LS1 4LT.

All events are free but registration is required. Email your name/club/fans’ group (if applicable) and specify the Leeds event, if you wish to attend: events@fsf.org.uk

The FSF fights for the rights of fans with campaigns such as ‘Twenty’s Plenty for Away Tickets’, Safe Standing, and ‘Watching Football is not a Crime’.

They regularly meet with the game’s authorities to argue the supporters’ case and help with club-specific campaigns.

The issue of smoke bombs at football matches has been in the spotlight lately, and a recent incident at our away match against Wigan Athletic caused some fans to raise concern.

We can report the matter has been taken into account by the club and we understand that some PR on this subject is to follow in due course.

We wish all fans travelling to Bournemouth a safe journey there and back, and hope they can bring back the three points.

We look forward to your continued support.
