FC HALIFAX Town crushed Hinckley United 7-0 to make it 12 goals in two matches without reply.

And as manager Neil Aspin’s side fire up their play-off challenge in the Blue Square North striker, Lee Gregory (above), made it six goals in two matches as he claimed himself another hat trick before the hour mark.

Also on target for the Shaymen were Dan Gardner, Alex Titchiner and two goals from Alex Johnson secured an emphatic victory for Town.

The win means Town have cemented their place in the play-offs and Hinckley have now conceded 108 goals in the league.

Gregory made it 22 goals for the season with his third goal coming from 25 yards out although goalkeeper Martin Conway will be disappointed as the ball slipped under him.

Gardner started the scoring off with a calm finish with his left-foot.

Substitutes Johnson and Titchiner both showed composure to get themselves on their scoresheet and full debutants Matthew Pearson and Adriano Moke both impressed on their first starts.
