The atmosphere will be electric when Huddersfield Town travel to Elland Road on Saturday to tackle derby rivals Leeds United.

A crowd of over 20,000 is expected – and Town will be followed by an army of 2,000 fans.

Town have so far sold just over 1,800 of their allocation for the Elland Road 3pm clash, when David Wagner’s side are seeking revenge for their 3-0 beating at home back in November.

Tickets will not be available at Elland Road on the day of the match, and they are available at Town’s stadium ticket office only until 4pm on Friday.

The ticket office will be extremely busy tomorrow because of the season-card launch , so fans are recommended to buy from the office today (Wednesday), or order on line today and they will be posted out tonight.

Leeds have topped 20,000 for each of their last four home fixtures bar one, when Fulham visited and 17,103 watched.

Leeds had 24,079 for the visit of Nottingham Forest, 20,424 for their match against Middlesbrough and 21,070 for their last home game against Bolton Wanderers.

Town are looking for a first success in the derby since October 2013, when they triumphed 3-2 at the John Smith’s with goals from Danny Ward, Tom Lees (og) and Jon Stead.
