Huddersfield Town have wasted no time getting into business as usual in Austria.

David Wagner and his 28-man squad are based in Fugen , in the beautiful Tyrol region of the country.

But this is not about sightseeing or taking in the mountain air of a region which comes to life as a skiing base during the winter.

Head coach Wagner is putting the focus entirely on fitness and football – in complete contrast to the ‘bonding’ trip to Sweden in which the players had to camp out and forage for their own food.

See Town training in Austria

Preparing for the opening Skybet Championship match against Brentford on Saturday, August 6, at the John Smith’s Stadium, Wagner is putting Town through treble training sessions as well as focusing on a lot of ballwork.

They have had three public friendlies already against Guiseley, Oldham Athletic and Liverpool, in the Shankly Trophy match which attracted 21,266 to the John Smith’s.

And they have two more planned against Werder Bremen tomorrow and FC Ingolstadt on Friday, which will be their last run-out before the action starts in earnest.
