BRIGHOUSE Town will look to get their title push back on track at home to Heanor Town tonight (7.45).

The Dual Seal Stadium outfit slipped to third in the Northern Counties East League’s Premier Division table after suffering a stunning injury time defeat 2-1 to Retford United at the weekend.

Bobby Johnson gave Retford the lead after five minutes but Brighouse seemed set to extend their unbeaten run beyond 18 games after Sam Hewitt equalised two minutes into the second half.

However, Craig Fisher reeled Brighouse in as he struck Retford’s winner in time added on.

Brighouse now trail leaders Scarborough Athletic by five points, though they still hold a game in hand, and have also fallen behind Bridlington Town on goal difference – with Bridlington having games in hand on both Brighouse and Scarborough.
