Former Huddersfield Town loan player Simon Church has joined new Championship rivals MK Dons from Charlton Athletic.

The Wales international striker scored once in seven games on loan from Reading in 2012-13.

He has had two years at Charlton, having been signed by current Town boss Chris Powell.

“Churchy is a really top lad, a good player and can score goals. He will add tremendous quality to our team,” said Dons boss Karl Robinson.

MK have also signed winger Dale Jennings from Barnsley and former Southampton keeper Cody Cropper.

Reading have finalised a three-year deal for midfielder Stephen Quinn after his contract at Hull City expired.

The Republic of Ireland international, 29, has the option of a year’s extension.

Quinn played for Sheffield United against Town in the 2012 League I play-off final at Wembley.

Reading had previously signed Reading Fulham striker Orlando Sa.

The Portuguese player was Polish side Legia Warsaw’s top scorer last season.
