LEE FOWLER spoke today of his red card agony.
The Welsh midfield man got only a fifth start of the campaign at Swindon but was sent-off four minutes from time for a two-footed challenge on sub Grant Smith.
Referee Andy Woolmer has promised to review the incident and, unless he changes his decision, Fowler will be banned for three matches.
"I'm gutted," said Fowler. "It was a bit of a rash tackle, but it was a booking more than anything else and I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed that when the referee takes a look, he agrees with that assessment. I definitely got the ball, but I also know I got the man as well.
"Everything had gone well before that and after badgering the gaffer all season for a chance, he's given me one and I feel I've half let him down and half repaid him because of the win."
Fowler added: "I sat in the dressing room with my head in my hands, because I could hear their supporters cheering and I was just praying they didn't get an equaliser!
"It was a great win for the lads, I thought we all did well and I've no doubt we can really kick on from this."
