Frankie Bunn reflected on a double for his Huddersfield Town Under 21 side and said: "It feels outstanding."

Already crowned Professional Development League II North section champions, Town claimed play-off success with a 2-1 win over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Defenders William Boyle and Jacob Hanson got the goals in front of more than 4,000 and Bunn added: "It's a great achievement for the
boys.

"It wasn't too pleasing to the eye, but we got over the line, and when you are in a final, you want to lift the trophy.

"It was great to have a good number of fans in an excellent crowd and the players deserved to be able to celebrate with them.

"Sheffield United had two good players up front and were always going to be tough opponents. I thought Will Boyle and Danny Kane were outstanding against them."

Bunn, whose side reached the semi-finals of the Under 21 Premier League Cup, also praised the performance of Under 16 keeper Ryan Schofield.

"The keeper and the back four won us the game," he said. "We knew if we kept going chances would come and our right-back (Hanson) got the goal that win the game."
