WATCH out for fresh faces! That's the message from manager Peter Jackson as he plans a major overhaul of Town's starting line-up against Luton at the Galpharm tomorrow (3.00).

Jackson's failure to secure a loan signing for the visit of the League I leaders has done nothing to dent his determination to ring the changes.

Apart from injured trio Tony Carss, Andy Holdsworth and Anthony Lloyd, the entire senior squad have been told to report for duty as Town bid to complete a League double over the Hatters for the first time since 1952-53.

"Three points tomorrow could kick-start a mini-revival for us and that's the objective," said Jackson.

"There is no better test for us than to be playing the team who have been most consistent all season, and the fact we are the only team to beat them at Luton just adds more spice to the contest.

"It's a massive game, I've every confidence in my players we can do well and, if we get cracking now, it's not impossible to push ourselves right back up the table in the 16 matches that are left.

"That's a big incentive, and we will go for it."

Jackson is keeping selection options close to his chest, but he confirmed that defenders Nathan Clarke and David Mirfin were fit to contest starting places and that other players who have been on the fringe are ready to step up.

"Luton have got some big lads in their side and we've got to be ready to do battle, especially with the likes of Kevin Nicholls in midfield and Steve Howard and Rowan Vine up front," added Jackson.

"They will be well aware of how we can play, though, they will know we are creating plenty of chances and they will know that Luke Beckett is taking them.

"Luke made a big impression with a couple of goals on his home debut in the win against Bournemouth, he added another couple at Walsall last weekend and now he's hungry for more."

Jon Worthington, Pawel Abbott, Nathan Clarke and Efe Sodje are all just one booking away from a ban.
