THE club captain was delighted to pick up three away points.

"It wasn't pretty, but hopefully we can now get a run going," he said.

"We all know we have to improve away from home and I thought we defended very well and deserved it.

"Boothy took his goal superbly well because he got the original flick before following up on Steady's shot to score, and it's given us a fantastic boost.

"The lads were buzzing in the dressing room and we were just happy for the fans, because they turned up in massive numbers again despite having so little to cheer in away games."
