EXCITED Huddersfield coach Jon Sharp believes the outcome of several key individual duels could decide tomorrow's Super League clash at Hull (6.05).

The east coast club are looking to go third with a win in front of the Sky TV cameras, while the Giants are desperate for success to keep their own top six play-off bid alive.

Sharp knows a win over his former club won't be easy.

But he believes that if his side can gain the upper hand in some of the key personal battles, the Giants have an excellent chance of securing a 10th win of the campaign.

"Right across the field there will be some intriguing individual battles," said Sharp.

"As soon as Hull made it clear Richard Swain would be fit to play, it set up an exciting duel with Brad Drew. They're two of the best hookers around.

"But I'm also looking forward to seeing the match-ups between several of the players who are hoping to be in the Great Britain squad at the end of the season.

"There will be a great stand-off duel between Chris Thorman and Richard Horne, while in the front row it'll be good to see Paul King and Eorl Crabtree locking horns.

"I've no doubt that whoever comes out on top in these individual battles will help lay a winning platform for their team.

"Hull will be tough to beat on their own patch and will be desperate to bounce back after losing at St Helens last week.

"But a win for us tomorrow would be fantastic for our own play-off bid."
