Harry Bunn is targeting another Griffin Park goal – and this time he wants it to help Huddersfield Town claim all three points against Brentford.

The 23-year-old was on target in last season’s Championship clash at the West London ground, but his side lost 4-1.

Now David Wagner and his men head South aiming to build on Tuesday’s 2-0 home win over Rotherham United.

The statistics show the rivals have the same defensive records – 30 goals conceded and four clean sheets from 21 games.

But Brentford have scored 30 league goals to Town’s 22, and seven of them have come from set-pieces.

The Londoners have their own specialist set-piece coach in Gianni Vio, who was previously with AC Milan.

Having conceded twice to free-kick routines against Bristol City last Saturday, Bunn knows Town have to be sharper.

“Goals win games, and to concede like we did against Bristol was disappointing,” said the forward, who scored his third of the season in the 2-1 home loss.

“We needed to bounce back with a win on Tuesday, and to get the clean sheet was another plus.

“Now we need to go to Brentford and try to take up where we left off.

“We have to start with a good tempo, like we did against Rotherham, and defend strongly for the 90 minutes.

“We are creating chances every game, but we need to stick more of them away.”

Town have received Football League confirmation that they complied with Financial Fair Play guidelines last season.

The maximum permitted loss for Championship clubs was £6m.
