ANDY HOLDSWORTH took the top two awards at the Town Supporters Club Player of the Year dance.

The versatile 24-year-old, above, who has operated in both midfield and defence this season, won the Hargreaves Memorial Trophy with 40% of the votes cast (Matt Glennon was runner-up and Andy Booth third).

He also won the Players’ Player of the Year prize as well as collecting the Young Terriers’ award.

Goalkeeper Glennon took the Travelling Supporters’ prize, Spencer Harris was named Young Player of the Year and Luke Beckett scooped the award for top scorer (he has 12).

The awards were made at the Galpharm on Saturday night.

Town players attended last night’s PFA awards dinner, but none made the League I team of the year.
