INJURED duo Andy Holdsworth and Tony Carss aim to be back for Town's home clash with Oldham a week on Saturday.

Both are making solid progress after hernia operations and are following a rehabilitation programme of swimming, bike riding and now jogging under the eye of physio Lee Martin.

While Saturday's home clash with Blackpool and the following midweek trip to Tranmere are too soon, the Galpharm date with Oldham is a realistic target.

That would be special for Carss against his old club, while Holdsworth is just keen to add to his 31 starts for the campaign.

"Tony and myself are both expecting to be fit and we'll have been out for four weeks by the time of the Oldham game," said Holdsworth.

"It's just been a matter of rebuilding core strength, leg strength and then regaining fitness by swimming and going to the gym, and we are both feeling fine.

"Apart from the scar tissue feeling a bit sore, it took about 10 days to get over the surgery and then, after building things up, it's been back to the jogging.

"We've both been working hard to make sure we get back as quickly as possible."

Holdsworth last played at Barnsley on January 15, before which he had not missed a single League match. Carss played in the next game against Bournemouth.
