Honley FC are seeking a new manager for their West Riding County Amateur League side.

The Holme Valley club are gearing up for another First Division campaign after finishing fourth under Steve Dyson.

The ex-Emley man replaced Richard Bray for the closing stages of last season.

Family commitments meant the long-serving Bray, who led Honley into the County Amateur League in 2014, always planned to step down this summer.

But he took charge of the club’s District League side as they struggled in Division II.

Honley were in Division III of the District League when Bray took over in 2012.

A string of promotions, and a (District League) Groom Cup win in 2013 followed.

Bray’s side won the County Amateur League Second Division title at the first time of asking.

Honley have also reached the West Riding FA Challenge Trophy final in 2014 and have made the semis in each of the last two seasons.

The club are keen to maintain that momentum and push for a place in the County Amateur Premier Division.
