Huddersfield Town have one of the cheapest season-tickets in the Championship, according to the BBC Price of Football survey.
The lowest-priced offered by the John Smith’s Stadium club is £249 – the joint-fifth cheapest in the division (alongside Blackburn Rovers and behind Birmingham City, Blackpool, Watford and Charlton Athletic).
It’s also lower than the average for the cheapest season-ticket, £334.33.
However, when it comes to a day out at the John Smith’s, Town are decidedly mid-table.
A day out will cost fans £27 for the cheapest available matchday ticket, a programme, a pie and a cup of tea.
That’s £10 more than the cheapest in the division, Sheffield Wednesday (£17.80) and £8 less than the most expensive, Brighton (£34.70).
Town’s cheapest matchday ticket comes in at £20 – double that of Sheffield Wednesday (£10) and the same as Leeds United and nearly the same as the average (£19.73).
A Town programme will set fans back £2, a whole £1 less than the average.
At £3, pies at the John Smith’s are 10p below the average, while a cuppa at £2 is 5p above the average.
