Huddersfield Town are top of the Championship after their third win in an unbeaten start.

There were ups and downs in the 2-1 home derby success against Barnsley.

The stopper produced another solid show, looking assured and in control of his area. 8

A bright display, especially in the first half, and helped halt old boy Adam Hammill. 7

Direct in the tackle and again pushed up well. Scored a fine first goal for Town. 8

MARK HUDSON

The skipper was up against it at times, but stuck to his task to make a big contribution. 7

CHRISTOPHER SCHINDLER

Calm and composed, he played a key role as Barnsley tried to utilise set pieces. 8

DEAN WHITEHEAD

Came in for Jonathan Hogg and did well apart from the odd misplaced pass. 7

AARON MOOY

Not quite as influential as in previous matches and came off in second half. 7

SEAN SCANNELL

Made the XI and was always a worry for the visitors with his pace and power. 7

ELIAS KACHUNGA

A classy performance by the German, who worked hard and made both Town goals. 8

RAJIV VAN LA PARRA

The left winger showed a neat touch, supplied some good balls, and kept going. 7

NAHKI WELLS

Always looked a threat in front of goal and produced some nice link play. 8
