Huddersfield Town kicked off the second half of this season’s Championship campaign in style with a tremendous victory at home to play-off contenders Watford at the John Smith’s.

It was just the tonic that the club needed after Chris Powell’s men crashed out of the FA Cup to Reading the previous week.

This match had everything – passion, endeavour, commitment and skill – and to a man the Terriers battled hard to take the spoils in what was a fully deserved three points.

Town have picked up seven points from the last 9 and this result sets things up nicely for the trip to Middlesbrough on Saturday to face another promotion pushing side.

Once again, the message from HTSA to the fans is clear – get behind the lads and cheer them on to victory.
