Huddersfield Town have already been linked with a host of names this summer and are closing in on deals for Joe Murphy and Keith Andrews.

Craig Cathcart is another name who has featured prominently in Town's rumoured list of targets but there may be some other Bosman bargains to be picked up after over 150 players featured on the Premier League's released list earlier this week.

Check out our gallery below to see some of the names let go by top-flight clubs who could be of interest to Robins and Town this summer...

Nathan Delfouneso:

The 23-year-old showed promise when coming through the various England youth sides but failed to make the grade at Aston Villa, with the likes of Andreas Weimann and Gabriel Agbonlahor preferred. Has had loan spells at Burnley, Leicester City, Blackpool and Coventry City.

Tommy Smith:

The former Watford winger is capable of playing wide or in a central attacking berth and possesses the right skill set for a wide player with crossing and dribbling ability. Barely featured for the Bluebirds last term and could be an attainable option.

Kagisho Dikgacoi:

The South African midfielder would represent a real bargain for whoever signs him this summer due to his defensive midfield qualities. The 29-year-old experienced a slight fall from grace last season but still made a commendable 27 appearances in all competitions.

Danny Gabbidon:

Unlikely to be able to command a move to a Premier League club given that he turns 35 later this year. Would provide experience and leadership to a relatively young Town side.

Aaron Wilbraham:

Perhaps not as prolific as James Vaughan and Nahki Wells, but would offer the club something different in attack after his release from Crystal Palace. Has a wealth of experience at this level after featuring in promotion-winning sides at Palace and Norwich City.

Apostolos Vellios:

Something of a wildcard option, but the Greek will be a man hellbent on silencing the critics he has amassed after failing to impress during his stay with Everton. He made just 22 first-team outings in 2011 and had a brief loan spell at Blackpool earlier this year.

Shola Ameobi:

The Newcastle United stalwart was finally allowed to leave Tyneside after a 14-year spell at the club which featured over 300 appearances and would provide a powerful spearhead to Town's attack.

Guly Do Prado:

Was once an integral member of the Southampton side which earned successive promotions from League One to the Premier League, but found first-team chances hard to come by in the top flight.

Matthew Etherington:

The 32-year-old has struggled for form and fitness in recent seasons and has been granted a new beginning by Stoke but, on his day, he can be a real threat on the flank, particularly if unleashed at Championship level.

Carlos Cuellar:

The Spaniard is eager to stay in English football and would be prepared to drop down a division should a Premier League move not bear fruit. Offers versatility in that he can play at both right-back or in the middle of defence.

Leroy Lita:

The former Reading striker was shipped out on loan to Brighton and Hove Albion last season but scored just one goal in five substitute appearances before returning to Swansea, where he had a further three run-outs. Would inject some more pace to the Town frontline.

David N'Gog:

The 25-year-old made 63 appearances for Liverpool before a £4m switch to Bolton in 2011. Fulham had a £3m bid for the tall link-up forward knocked back last summer before he moved to Swansea in January. He failed to make an impression and is now without a club.

Zoltan Gera:

The Hungarian has suffered from a spate of injury problems during his second spell at West Bromwich Albion but has proven himself to be an extremely useful and reliable performer. Neat passer and has an eye for goal.

Steven Reid:

The former Millwall, Blackburn Rovers and West Brom man is extremely versatile and is equally adept in a right-back role as he is in central midfield. Brings with him experience but his adaptability could be a unique selling point.

Jack Collison:

Another who has been victim to numerous injuries but there can be no doubting the midfielder's quality when fully firing. Ended the 2013/2014 season on loan at Wigan Athletic and appeared in the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Arsenal at Wembley while with the Latics.
