Huddersfield Town are the latest club taking an interest in Airdrieonians striker Liam Coogans.

The teenager is on trial in Huddersfield this week.

Coogans has previously had training stints with Celtic and Blackburn Rovers.

The Diamonds forward has scored three goals since making his professional debut in March last year.

Reports had suggested Blackburn were close to finalising a £50,000 transfer for the frontman

But despite interest from Ewood Park, a deal is yet to be done.

Town are getting their chance to have a look at Coogans who is full-time at Airdrie after he was enrolled into the youth apprenticeship scheme last September through club director Chris Ewing’s Edusport Academy.
