Feedback on the new Huddersfield Town scheme which provides priority when buying tickets for away matches means Blue & White Foundation members or Patrons who are also season-card holders will have equal billing with Terriers on Tour members.

It’s £20 adults and £10 juniors to join Terriers on Tour for the 2016/17 Championship campaign (members also get £5 off the new away shirt and £1 off official travel to away matches).

But Town have confirmed that B & W Foundation Members or Patrons who are also season-card holders do not have to pay the additional £20 to be a ‘Terriers on Tour’ member.

The order of priority for buying away tickets will now be:

1. Terriers on Tour members and B & W Foundation Members or Patrons who are also season-card holders.

2. Season-card holders.

3. Blue & White Foundation members or Patrons.

4. General sale.

Terriers on Tour membership is available from Monday (on line and at the ticket office).

Town chief executive Julian Winter explained: “We’ve discussed the feedback received on social media and on the phone following the launch of ‘Terriers on Tour’ and have acted quickly to alter the prioritisation.

“The clear message was that season-card holders who are also Blue & White Foundation members or Patrons should have top priority on tickets, so they are now in category 1 prioritisation alongside Terriers on Tour members.

“We still believe there is a need for a bespoke away membership scheme that is cheaper for fans who see priority on away tickets as something they want, without the extra added benefits of being a BWF member or a Patron.

“However, this change adds balance by rewarding fans who are already BWF members or Patrons.”
