WEST Yorkshire rivals FC Halifax Town are Bradford Park Avenue are among the 64 clubs battling it out to join Town and the other League I and II clubs in Sunday afternoon’s FA Cup first-round draw.
Lee Clark’s side will be ball No23, with the pairings made live on ITV (1.30).
Halifax, of the Blue Square North, go to Solihull Moors for their fourth qualifying round tie tomorrow while Park Avenue, of the Evo-Stik (Northern Premier) top flight, visit Kidsgrove.
Cambridge and Dover, both beaten by Town in the cup last season, are also involved in tomorrow’s ties (away to Hayes & Yeading and at home to Bath City respectively).
There are meetings of former Football League clubs at Wrexham (v York) and Southport (v Stockport).
And at the other end of the soccer spectrum, the lowest ranked side remaining in the competition are Hebburn, of the Northern League Second Division, who face Blue Square Premier Gateshead.
Making the first-round draw will be two men who took part in one of the FA Cup’s most famous upsets, non-league Sutton’s 2-1 win over Coventry in 1989.
Representing Coventry is Keith Houchen, while one of Sutton’s scorers that day, Matthew Hanlan, will be alongside him.
