HUDDERSFIELD Town manager Lee Clark admits he'll be keeping a close eye on the Giants in tonight's showdown with St Helens for a place in the rugby league Grand Final.

Clark has sent a 'good luck' message to Giants coach Nathan Brown and his players from everyone at the football club.

Clark - whose League I leading squad are travelling to Swindon for tomorrow's match at the County Ground - explained: "I spoke at length with Nathan yesterday and said to him let's make it a good, exciting and terrific weekend for the town.

"We have a close working relationship between the two sets of staff, we all get on well together and we wish them all the best for the match against St Helens.

"We are hoping that when we get to the hotel we can have two screens tonight - one showing the football and the other showing the rugby league so that we can give our support to the Giants.

"Everyone hopes they can win because it would be a terrific achievement to get through to the final at Old Trafford.

"Since I have been here, I think Nathan has enhanced what was already a big reputation, he's a terrific fellow and everyone here at the football club wishes them all the best."
