David Wagner says Huddersfield Town’s two pre-season training camps will be completely different but equally important.

The head coach will take his squad, who report back for duty on Friday, June 24, to both Sweden and Austria.

The exact dates are still to be confirmed, but the Swedish trip will take place soon after the players return.

The Austrian visit will be closer to the big Championship kick-off on Saturday, August 6.

“We will have new faces and It’s better if they know and trust each other very soon.

“Austria will be two to three weeks before the start of the new season.

“It will be more football orientated and include a couple of matches.”

“Then we will return to England and readjust to the climate and conditions here in time for the start of the season.”
