High-flying Brighton are looking to make it three wins out of three while Town are still searching for their first win of the season.

Huddersfield's opening-day 2-0 defeat to Hull City was followed by a hard-fought draw at home to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

Who has said what about the game?

After drawing with Blackburn Rovers, manager Chris Powell believes his side have something to build on ahead of the Tuesday-night test.

Powell said: “We are under way in terms of our points tally and we have to carry on the good things we did, and there were many.”

Any team news?

Despite returning to the starting line-up only on Saturday, Huddersfield winger Sean Scannell is doubtful, suffering a recurrence of the hamstring injury that has dogged him over the past couple of weeks.

However, forward James Vaughan is available while Joe Murphy looks set to continue in goal amid speculation over the future of Alex Smithies.

For the visitors, winger Jamie Murphy could make his debut after signing from Sheffield United but the wait for Bobby Zamora's long-awaited second Brighton debut is set to continue due to a groin injury.

Tell me about Brighton & Hove Albion

An outside tip for relegation at the start of the season, few would have predicted Chris Hughton's men would sit proudly at the top of the Championship after two games.

The only side with a 100% record, the 1-0 Friday-night Championship curtain-raising victory at home to Nottingham Forest was followed by an impressive 2-1 away win against Fulham on Saturday.

League Head-To-Head Record

HTAFC (14 Wins), BHA (19 Wins), Draws (13)

The last four games have all ended in draws - a stalemate at the Amex Stadium in April following a 1-1 draw at the John Smith's Stadium in October.

The only other Championship encounters, in 2012/13, have ended in Brighton victories meaning Huddersfield have never won the fixture at the second tier of English football.

Any Match odds?

The visitors are slight favourites with the bookmakers at 6/4 with the draw a solid 12/5.
