DEAN HOYLE has urged fans to roar Town to another vital victory at Blackburn tomorrow.

The owner-chairman says the Ewood Park reunion with former Town favourite Jordan Rhodes (7.45) is the "biggest game of the season" as Mark Robins’ side try to take another step towards Championship survival.

Town climbed to 19th, a place above Blackburn and two points above the relegation trapdoor, by winning 3-1 at Wolves on Saturday, when they had a sell-out 1,800 following.

It’s pay on the turnstile at Blackburn and upbeat Hoyle said: "We want thousands there, and I ask the supporters, please come over – we need you.

"The backing at Wolves was fantastic. There’s no two ways about it, they made a huge difference.

"It was a massive and well-deserved win at Wolves, but we are still a long way off safety, and we desperately want to win again tomorrow."

Jermaine Beckford came off the bench to bag the double which clinched Town’s third successive win on visits to Molineux after Sean Scannell cancelled out Stephen Ward’s early strike for the home side, who are now second-bottom ahead of tomorrow’s visit of promotion-chasing Hull.

"We have always believed that we are a better side than our league position suggests, and we showed it," added Hoyle.

"The players worked their socks off and proved they can do it. Wolves came at us like an express train and put us under real pressure, but we composed ourselves and got back into the game.

"We were fantastic from back to front, but we need to do it again at Blackburn, and as I’ve said, the fans can really help us. Let’s pull together and get up to where we want to be."

Rhodes, who cost Rovers £8m in August, netted his 26th goal for them from the penalty spot in Saturday’s 2-0 home win over Derby.
