Huddersfield Town’s Under 21 Professional Development League II play-off semi-final against Millwall will be at PPG Canalside next Tuesday (May 3) with a 2.00 kick-off.

It’s a fourth successive play-off appearance for Frankie Bunn’s side, who have won the Northern division with 20 wins and five draws from 30 games.

The game must be decided on the day, with extra time and penalties if necessary. Charlton Athletic host Sheffield United in the other semi-final.

Town made the semi-finals of the Under 21 Premier League Cup, but went out to Hull City on penalties following a goalless draw after extra time.

Hull lost 1-0 at West Ham United in the first leg of the final in front of 10,267 at Upton Park. The second leg is at the KC Stadium on Wednesday, May 4 (7.00).

After two play-off semi-final defeats, Town won 5-3 after extra time at Crystal Palace to make last season’s final.

However Bunn’s side, who ended their regular-season fixtures with a 1-1 draw at Coventry City , were beaten 3-2 at Swansea City.

Millwall, coached by former Fulham and Bristol Rovers midfielder Justin Skinner, won 15 and drew five of their 29 league games.

Town won 2-0 at Millwall with goals by Jake Charles and Philip Billing back in October.
