Huddersfield Town have confirmed venues and kick-off times for their friendlies against German top-flight teams Werder Bremen and FC Ingolstadt over in Austria.

David Wagner’s side, who have their first pre-season game at Guiseley on Wednesday (7.45), fly to Fugen on Saturday, July 23 for a week-long trip.

They will play Bremen at the Parkstadion in Zell am Ziller, Schwimmbadweg – close to Fugen - on Tuesday, July 26 at 6.00 local time (5.00 BST).

On Friday, July 29, they face Ingolstadt at the Silberstadt Arena Schwaz in Paulinumweg at 6.30 local time (5.30 BST).

Town, whose first Championship game is at home to Brentford on Saturday, August 6, have signed striker Elias Kachunga on a season-long loan from Ingolstadt with the potential of a permanent deal.

After the Guiseley game, Town go to League I Oldham Athletic on Saturday, July 16 (3.00).

Then comes the plum home pre-season clash with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool on Wednesday, July 20 (7.45).

Both German sides finished in mid-table in the 18-team Bundesliga in the 2015/16 campaign.
