TOWN duo Liam Ridehalgh and Chris Atkinson will be in League II action in the South-West tomorrow – but at different grounds.

They have both been at Chesterfield, but left-back Ridehalgh was recalled ahead of yesterday’s Football League loan deadline in order to join Rotherham, who face Exeter.

The 21-year-old has spent the last three months at Chesterfield, making 16 appearances.

That was his second stint with the Spireites, and he also had a loan at Swindon last season.

Ridehalgh, who has played 26 times for Town, will be with Rotherham until January 12.

Manager Steve Evans made his move after Blackburn loanee Josh Morris was injured during Tuesday’s 3-2 home defeat by Wycombe, which left the Millers 11th.

Midfielder Atkinson will remain at Chesterfield for their game at Plymouth.

The 20-year-old midfielder has scored five times in 15 games.

His loan runs out after the Home Park clash, but could be extended after that.

Town forward Kallum Higginbotham’s loan spell at League I Carlisle runs for another month.

The 23-year-old former Falkirk player has made 11 appearances for the Cumbrians.

Striker Jimmy Spencer is back at Town after his loan stint at Brentford.

Currently under treatment for a thigh injury, he made only two substitute appearances.

l Leeds, who visit Town a week tomorrow, have completed loan deals for Swansea defender Alan Tate and West Brom winger Jerome Thomas.

Blackburn have brought in Manchester United striker Josh King while Sheffield Wednesday have landed Stoke striker Mamady Sidibe and Manchester City full-back Jeremy Helan.
