Huddersfield Town centre-back Murray Wallace is in danger of missing his first match since joining Scunthorpe United on loan.

The 22-year-old was forced off halfway through the 1-0 home League I win over Fleetwood Town last time out after taking a knock.

Now the former Falkirk player, who has made eight appearances for the Iron, is a doubt for Saturday’s trip to Oldham Athletic.

Former Town manager Mark Robins also has Town wideman Joe Lolley on loan.

And the 23-year-old is in line for a fourth appearance at Boundary Park.

Robins has challenged his 20th-placed side to “go on a run” as they look to build some momentum – and confidence – on the back of a first win in four.

Scunthorpe have not won back-to-back league matches since February and have gone 14 away games without a victory.

“We need to stay positive, remain focused and we can turn the away form around,” said Robins.

“If we can do that, obviously the players will grow in confidence and that harmony will come back between the players and the supporters and the atmosphere will change.

“It’s a chicken and egg situation, but what comes first? Do we all stick together or is there a divide?

“Getting behind the players will have a massively positive effect, but I know it’s difficult to say that when you’re not winning games consistently.”
