Huddersfield Town’s home game against Nottingham Forest on Saturday will be the club’s Remembrance Match.

The fallen of wars and conflicts around the globe and at home will be commemorated at the Championship fixture.

And it’s a special occasion as 10 members of Larrett Roebuck’s family will be at the game for a minute’s silence pitchside, standing alongside Town manager Chris Powell and chairman Dean Hoyle.

Roebuck was a Town player and he was the first English League footballer to be killed in the First World War.

He died on October 18, 1914, at Beaucamps-Ligny in France following an attack on an enemy position while serving with the 2nd Battalion York & Lancaster Regiment.

Members of the Royal British Legion will also be at the match and poppy sellers will be around the ground.
