Huddersfield Town have extended goalkeeper Ed Wilczynski’s loan to Hyde United.

The homegrown 21-year-old will now be with the Northern Premier League club until Saturday, December 28 inclusive.

Town academy product Wilczynski initially joined Hyde last month and is eyeing a sixth appearance at home to Frickley Athletic.

He had a loan spell at the Greater Manchester club last season and has also spent time at Trafford and FC United of Manchester.

Hyde, whose assistant manager is former Town player and coach Martyn Booty, are 10th in the NPL Premier Division.

Their squad includes former Town academy players Spencer Harris, James Burke and Shane Killock.

They have eight games between now and the end of Wilczynski’s second month on loan.
