Huddersfield Town's 2014/2015 fixtures were revealed this morning, with Mark Robins' side taking on AFC Bournemouth at home on the opening day.

Other key dates include a trip to Rotherham United on Boxing Day, while the season will conclude with a trip to Blackpool on May 2, the final day of the campaign.

And while other fixtures may be particularly eye-catching to Town supporters, not least the two tricky-looking batches of fixtures against promotion hopefuls in October and April respectively, one main highlight - aside from the derby with Leeds United - is the two meetings with fellow Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday.

Last season's two meetings ended with one win apiece, with Town coming out on top at Hillsborough in a 2-1 win before a disappointing 2-0 home defeat in the midst of the Terriers' slump in the second half of the season.

Town will host the encounter first this time around, with the match scheduled for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday, November 22. The other meeting between the two sides comes in the middle of a testing end-of-season run for Town and is on Saturday, April 4, with the match again in line for a 3pm kick-off.

Match dates and times are subject to change.
